A few African species have arrived at the butterfly exhibit at the Garden. Many of the more beautiful ones were clustered around the trays of food and were difficult to photograph and none opened their wings to reveal their colors during my visit. These photographs were taken last week during a visit to the exhibit but I was at a loss to identify them. Many thanks to Courtney, the butterfly expert at the Garden. She has been fun to talk to and helpful in identifying many of the butterflies I have photographed.
