The daffodils have exploded at the Garden! Although there are daffodils of many varieties all over the Garden, I love the dense spread of them on Evening Island where these photographs were taken. Our temperatures have been in the 80's for most of the last week; we have broken records for an early spring.
The crocuses blanket the grassy hillside on Evening Island and forsythia is in full bloom in the distance.
Tulips in the Circle Garden are beginning to open. A nice rain during my walk today made for some beautiful close-ups. This baby is just peeking out of its swaddling of leaves while others are wide open.
